Qxtender - User Guide - Export Mode Access to Data

After putting Qxtender in Export Mode, Plugins will request specific files exported from QB (see instructions).

1. When Qxtender is started, it will prompt to select a Data Mode. Select "Export Mode" and click "OK."

Or choose "Set Data Mode..." from the File menu, click the "Set Data Mode" button on Qxtender's toolbar.

2. Qxtender is now in Export Mode.

There will be no company name on the Title Bar of Qxtender (above the menus).

All Plugins that support Export Mode will now get their data from lists and/or reports exported from QuickBooks, QuickPayroll and other supported formats. You will be prompted by the Plugin for any needed export file.

See the User Guide on this site for your plugin for specific instructions on exporting the appropriate files.

Startup Options

1. If you decide to use Export Mode most of the time, you may want to change the Startup Option to "Start with last-used Data Mode setting"

This will place Qxtender in Export Mode at startup.

"Preferences" is found on the File menu of Qxtender.
