Most changes to format are on page 2 of NYS-45. Also, per new tax agency rules, values calculated to zero or no value print blank instead of "0.00" (except lines 1 - 3, Part A, which print ".00"). v3.25 (3/29/10): -Maintenance release. v3.21 (3/24/09): -Maintenance release. v3.20 (4/24/08): -Added new option in Get Data step when running in QB Integrated App Data Mode to calculate UI Wage totals from all wages, instead of using the QB calculated UI Subject Wages. This is most useful for Non-profit organizations that have elected "reimbursing employer" status for unemployment insurance and have unchecked the "SUI (Company Paid)" checkbox on each employee's payroll setup. In this case, since there is no "NY - Unemployement Company" payroll item in payroll transactions, the UI Subject Wages is zero. By setting this new option, then entering zero for both tax rates in step 6 (Reconcile tab page), Part A of the report will show the correct wage totals, but still report zero tax due. v3.19 (3/29/08): -Maintenance release. v3.18 (6/26/07): -Maintenance release. v3.17 (5/18/07): -Technology Update (D2007). v3.15 (2/16/07): -Many changes to support Windows Vista (which also improve security on Windows XP and Windows 2000). -Administrator rights no longer required to enter License keys. v3.12 (10/6/06): -Updates to support QB 2007 and Enterprise 7.0. v3.11 (9/11/06): -Temporary files created by this Plugin are now encrypted for security purposes. -Set tax rate and limit defaults for manually selected payitems in QB Integrated App data mode. v3.10 (7/20/06): -QB Integrated App Data Mode support added. This is now the preferred method for direct mode access to QuickBooks. In this data mode, UI subject wages are now totaled from QuickBooks' internal IncSubjToTax amount which is based on each payroll item's tax settings. Hence, Special Setup is no longer required. v3.02 (4/19/06): -QB App Controller updates. v3.01 (3/27/06): -Adjusted QB App Controller timing to reduce errors. -Improved license key handling. v3.00 (3/3/06): -New Tax Form format for 2006 onward. -Add printing of date prepared for both taxpayer and paid preparer. -Fix bug in Paid Preparer Telephone number not allowing blank. v2.13 (2/10/06): -Fix bug in QB App Controller mode QuickPayroll support caused by changes for 2.12 update. -Correct error in Export Mode instructions for Payroll Transaction Detail report (was missing "Payroll Item"). -Improved hints and error messages during QB App Controller use. v2.12 (1/30/06): -Export Mode and QB App Controller modes.
