Important: If you currently only need access to QB 2007 or earlier data you do not need to purchase a Direct Mode license.

Qxtender includes Direct Mode access (in which data is retrieved directly from QB company data) to QB 2007 and earlier as part of the Plugin purchase price. Direct Mode access to QB 2008 & Later data must be purchased separately. Support of future versions will require renewals at upgrade pricing.

When you purchase a Direct Mode license, it includes access to all supported versions of QB up to and including the version licensed, in at least one of the data modes in Direct Mode.

Direct Mode is comprised of the QB Application Controller, QB Direct File and QB Integrated Application Data Modes. (Not all Plugins currently support all 3 Direct Modes. Please demo your Plugin(s) and ensure it suits your needs before purchasing a DM license).

This license applies to Qxtender -- not each Plugin. In other words, you do not need to purchase a Direct Mode license for each Plugin. Also, it is not a time-limited or annual license. For instance, if you use QB 2013 for the next 3 years, this license will cover the entire period. You only need to upgrade when you need access to data files produced by the newer versions of QB.

To obtain a QB Direct Mode license, first update Qxtender using its integrated Online Update utility, or download and install the current Qxtender installer from the downloads section on this website. Then choose a payment option below.

After the completion of your purchase transaction at PayPal you will receive 2 emails -- a payment confirmation from PayPal, and an email from Qtools Software with your newly issued License Name & Key. Run Qxtender and select the "Upgrade Direct Mode License" item on the Help menu. Enter the Name & Key and click the "Activate" button.

Your license key should arrive within 10 minutes of ordering. Contact our support email address if you do not receive it within 30 minutes.

You are not required to have a PayPal account in order to place an order through PayPal. When you reach the PayPal ordering page just click the "Secure Checkout" button under "Don't have a PayPal account ?". If you have any difficulties ordering through PayPal, please email our support email address and we will make other arrangements.

VERY IMPORTANT: Licenses are issued via email to the address you provide with your order. To ensure that any spam filtering does not block the email, add QTOOLS.COM to your safe list or add orders@qtools.com and support@qtools.com to your contacts list. If you do not receive an email you are expecting, check your junk folder.

(Your DM license key can be displayed by selecting "Upgrade Direct Mode License" on Qxtender's Help menu. If you cannot locate your license key, please email our tech support and provide enough information so that we can locate your customer record. We will then email you your existing license key so that you may place your order).
